Primary Christmas Lecture 2016

The National Schools’ Observatory (NSO) and Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) would like to invite your school to our annual Free Primary Space Christmas Lecture.

The lecture takes place at 1:00pm on Friday 16th December 2016 and is entitled ’The Solar System and Beyond’.

This interactive Christmas lecture is aimed specifically at Key Stage 2 and will introduce students to the world of astronomy in a fun and informative way whilst sending them flying into Christmas with minds full of wonder and imagination.

Tickets are FREE but limited initially to one class per school (plus up to 4 accompanying adults) and will be given out on a first come, first served basis, so please get in touch today.

To book your tickets please contact m.coulby@ljmu.ac.uk stating the number of children in your class together with the number of adults that will be accompanying the children.

Please note Duckinfield Street runs between Mount Pleasant and Brownlow Hill, with a pedestrian entrance via Brownlow Hill and access for mini busses via Great Orford Street just off Mount Pleasant. This entrance is not suitable for large coaches, you may want to consult your coach company to discuss suitable drop points on Mount Pleasant or Brownlow Hill, the attached map may be of help.
